Trendy Thursday { Bridal Hair }

Finding the perfect hairstyle to complement your wedding gown can be tricky – so here are a few gorgeously simple ideas that will never go out of style!

  • Finger Waves: these gorgeous no-fuss waves are perfect for any bride! Great for a glam bride, or one who prefers something a bit more boho-chic.
  • Bouffant: this style flatters every face shape, plus it’s fits just about any theme/era!
  • Faux Bob: this style is more for the bride who wants something a little bit different than the traditional updo.
  • High Bun: my favorite of the four looks, the high bun is perfect for the bride that wants a classic, feminine look.

Real Wedding Wednesday { Winter Editorial }

This week I’ve decided to feature this gorgeous editorial shoot from Rebekah Westover Photography {shot at the St. Regis Deer Valley}. It’s got lots of fun and sparkly inspiration for your winter shindig {weddings and holiday parties included}.

My favorite part of this shoot are the signature drinks and yummy hors d’oeuvres! Signature cocktails add a super fun and personal element to any event – to give it a little something extra, give the drink a creative name and incorporate some signage. Oh, and don’t forget to feature some hot beverages during the winter!

Hors d’oeuvres pictured above: Market beets, local honey and goat cheese, with a Wasabi adornment and some cozy winter Demitasse of Lobster soup, Creme Fraiche, and basil oil.

Stop by next week for more from this editorial shoot!
