Colorful Eye Candy

I’m a sucker for built-ins, so anytime our team gets to style the built-in bookshelf at Cypress Grove Estate House, I’m all over it {I love their fireplace too}! Whether we’re decking it out with our colorful, vintage depression glass + candles or filling it with old family photos, this pretty bookshelf allows brides + grooms to add a personal touch to their venue {and feature some of our gorgeous inventory}!

Vintage Yellow Dresser

Yellow is a color that makes me smile. You know why? Because it reminds me of sunshine + sunflowers, and those are things that make me happy =) You know what else makes me happy? Our vintage yellow dresser! It’s perfect for a welcome display, sign-in table, or even a mini dessert bar!

Kathleen + Joe | Vintage Orlando Wedding

Kat and Joe’s wedding was a fun mix of vintage travel and Cali flair. Details such as a hand painted globe, and maps of the California beaches they fell in love on, helped bring their personalities and love story into their wedding day. The escort card display was made of three vintage bike tires suspended above a table to create a totally unique look. Vintage luggage, antique books, and soft pastel details finished off the look of the wedding. Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks to see more of the {amazing} details our stylist crafted up for their wedding!

Leah + Matthew | Gatsby Glam

Can we all just take a moment to drool over these photos from Leah + Matthew’s vintage, great-gatsby inspired wedding!? From the gold-foil stationery, to her stunning gown, to all the glamorous details… we can’t help but swoon!

From the bride: “Unlike most women I know, I hadn’t planned my wedding day since I was little. As soon as I got engaged I knew the colors I was attracted to and the look & feel I wanted to evoke but that was about it. Our venue spoke to the 1920’s vibe, and the idea of an outdoor setting speckled with a gorgeous canopy of trees drew me in. My favorite part of all the planning was getting to see our family and friends come together to dance like fools, connect, and truly share in our joy.”

Vintage Roll Top Desk

Who doesn’t love a roll top desk!? I remember having one of these growing up and always wondering what was inside {my parents kept it locked}. The excitement of opening it and discovering all sort of keepsakes {old letters, my great grandfather’s harmonica, etc.} was almost too much for my curious heart to bear! Every time I see our gorgeous vintage white roll top desk at a wedding my heart skips a beat – I just love seeing couples incorporate old love letters between their grandparents/parents, a pretty guest book {or our vintage typewriter ;-)}, and photos of the bride + groom!

Handmade Guest Book

Mallory + Brad featured a unique item that I hadn’t seen at a wedding before – a beautiful handmade quilt for all of their guests to sign! It was a welcome change to the traditional guest book, and now this sweet couple can literally wrap themselves in all the love left by their friends + family =)

Telephone Tables

Who’s ready for a history lesson? Telephone tables, also known as gossip tables, were used back when home phones weren’t portable {can you even imagine that!?}. It’s basically a small table for a rotary phone attached to a chair, so that whomever is using the phone has a nice comfy seat. These were wildly popular between the 1920’s and 1950’s, and I can’t even imagine all the conversations that happened at ours! Nowadays, we love using this as a guest book sign-in table!

Let me introduce you to one of my new favorite pieces from our inventory! This rustic high top table would be perfect for a unity candle, sand ceremony, or even a unique welcome display for ceremony programs 🙂 Oh, I can see it now – an intimate ceremony set up in a wooded area, along with our table greeting guests with programs, and maybe even throw in a bench for an added element of rustic winderfulness!
