Oh my stars! We’re so in love with the dreamy photos of Monica + Paul’s wedding by Amalie Orrange Photography. Their gorgeous, lavender wedding took place at the Cypress Grove Estate House a little over a month ago. The lush floral throughout, provided by Flowers by Lesley, tied everything together so beautifully. Our favorite part of the night was when our sweet couple had their last dance together, alone, while guests were getting ready for the sparkler exit. It brought {happy} tears to all of us!
Vendor Spotlight | Sprinkles Custom Cakes
We recently popped into Sprinkles Custom Cakes, located in Winter Park, and are quite smitten. The shop is under new management, and the owner, Richard Gregory, was so kind to chat and show us around. You’ll be sure to notice the shop on Fairbanks Ave, with its fresh, bright blue paint, darling garden, new signage, and the sweetest window display. In the meeting space, they have a slew of cakes in all different varieties. From bling, to crafted flowers, to hand painted goodness – couples are sure to gather inspiration in creating their custom wedding cake at Sprinkles! Richard also has a display with cakes for the groom, bridal showers, birthdays, and celebrations. The best part of our visit, undoubtedly, was tasting the delicious cake! I love how they do tastings family style. Richard has a tray of multiple cake flavors, with various fillings around the border; this way you can mix and match the cake with the filling to find your perfect taste!
If you’re still looking for your dream cake – most definitely check out Sprinkles Custom Cakes!
Vintage Buffets
Today we’re talking about two of our darling pieces of inventory… our buffets, Victoria and Winter!
Traditionally, buffets {sometimes called sideboards} were found in dining rooms and were used for {you guessed it} serving a buffet of food! The earliest buffets appeared in the 18th century but gained a lot of popularity during the 19th century. Many feature intricate details which just makes them all the more pretty! It’s no wonder they’ve stayed around for son long!
At RW Events, we’ve taken these lovely pieces of history and introduced them to the world of weddings and events! These buffets are being used outdoors, in ballrooms, under tents, in gardens and more! Anywhere the wedding goes, our buffets will gladly follow.
Want to make a statement as people are arriving? Use a buffet for your card box and guest sign in book! Need to add some charm to your cocktail hour? Display your escort cards on the top of a buffet! Want to keep it traditional? Use a buffet to display your hors d’Oeuvres, candy buffet, or cake!
We love seeing these beautiful pieces get reimagined for each and every wedding they attend. If you want to add some of this darling history to your wedding, reach out styling@rwevents.com today!

Inventory in Action | Church Pews
Our wooden church pews made their big debut at the Cypress Grove Estate House yesterday! We paired these beauties with a selection of mismatched chairs and benches to give the space a bit of an eclectic feel. We also made sure to include book racks on the back of each pew, perfect for holding ceremony programs and welcome cards. Each pew seats 9 people comfortably (we have 10 in stock), and they rent for $125 each. Mismatched dining chairs rent for $7.50 each. Contact our team today to book these for your event!
Real Wedding | Lauren + Rob’s Colorful Soirée
What a sweet couple Lauren + Rob were! They worked with our styling team to dream up a coloful, vintage inspired wedding at the Cypress Grove Estate House, and featured pretty shades or mint + coral. One of our favorite details from their wedding – the ribbon backdrop we used behind their sweetheart table. It adds a fun pop of color and make a great statement piece.

Sneak Peek | Vintage Pastel Wedding
Oh, la la! Talk about a pretty pastel wedding! Cati + Kevin hosted an elegant, vintage inspired wedding at Cypress Grove Estate House, and we just couldn’t wait to share the details with you – here are a couple behind-the-scenes pics of two our of favorite vignettes from their wedding {the social lounge + souvenir station}. We loved the vintage glassware provided as takeaways, and we got to feature two of our new matching, mint green settees!
Real Wedding | Elegant Al Fresco Affair
Kerriane + David have been married for almost two whole months! These sweetie pies said {I do} on the loveliest spring day with {hilarious} friends, family and pups. Their wedding took place at the Cypress Grove Estate House, where they danced the night away with loved ones in the amphitheater {decked out with ivory draping, gold chiavari chairs, and lush ivory florals}.
Kate the Great
If you’re still on the hunt for a wedding guestbook, look no further. Miss Kate Spade has come through once again with one that is sure to make you swoon.
It’s simple and elegant with a touch of fun {hello gold polka dots!} in true Kate Spade fashion. My favorite part though is a little surprise in the back of the book. The last couple pages are for “Confidentially Speaking” where guests can write their well wishes, memories, and tips on a {gold rimmed} card and slip it into a miniature {gold lined} envelope. Seeing the trend here? {We like gold}
I love this because…
- Miniature envelopes are just cute
- No snooping! You can write your thoughts to the happy couple knowing it is for their eyes only
- How fun would that be as the B&G?! Opening up lots of little envelopes with thoughts from all of the people you love most in the world
While you’re at it, go ahead and add {this guy} to your cart too and I’ll sit back and live vicariously through your perfectly adorable Kate accented wedding.
