Say hello to our newest collection! This boho chic social lounge is the perfect blend of relaxed bohemian + modern details, and we just can’t get enough of it!

Boho Chic CollectionWhat really gives this collection personality are the little details – like the tribal drum and the patterned pillows. To make the space a little more cozy we added two simple rugs and some fuzzy throw blankets {perfect for cuddling up with your sweetie}.
Our favorite detail – those ottomans! We love their fun texture + hint of sparkle, and they double as additional seating!

Real Wedding | Alyssa + Ben

Combine a charming lakeside venue with rustic and champagne details, and you have one delightful soiree! The bride, Alyssa, is originally from the Central Florida area, but currently resides in Boston with her beau, so all of their planning was done from afar with our planning team. Alyssa + Ben are so incredibly detail-oriented and sweet, and their love for one another truly shined through during the wedding.

Church CeremonyThe ceremony was held at Annunciation Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, where Alyssa grew up and went to school. My oh my, that church is absolutely beautiful!

Bridal Party PortraitAfter the ceremony, we made our way to the Cypress Grove Estate House for cocktails, dinner + dancing. The reception was set with farm tables, mahogany chiavari chairs, gold flatware, and gorgeous blooms.

Tidbits + Tips | Selecting the Perfect Wedding Location

Hooray, you’re engaged! After the wonderful congratulations from friends and family pour in, you might feel a bit overwhelmed with all of the when + where questions. Not to fret, we’ve compiled a few tips to help you and your honey select the perfect venue. You might be surprised to learn that a lot more goes into picking a venue besides it just being pretty!

1. Estimate your guest list + budget – You might not have a solid guest count just yet, but having a idea of the number of guests is crucial in helping you narrow down the options. Your wedding budget goes hand in hand with your guest count. Once you begin pricing out venues, you’ll have a better idea of how the remainder of your wedding budget will look.

2. Think about your wedding day style – You and your partner’s wedding style will greatly help you determine which wedding venues will work best. Whether it’s classic, elegant, rustic, bohemian, or simple and low-key, figuring out the direction you both love will certainly be a big help. You’ll also need to consider the all-important budget!

3. Full or limited service venue – Does your venue include items such as tables, chairs, linens, etc.? How much creative freedom are you looking for within your venue? There are full-service venues, specializing in weddings, that have an arsenal of rentals, some included and some add an additional charge. If you know you might want different chairs or tables, be sure your venue will allow this prior to booking.

4. Catering + Vendors – Some venues have exclusive caterers that you must work with. While this definitely is not a downfall by any means, if you have a specific dish or cuisine in mind, make sure the exclusive caterer is able to accommodate beforehand. Some venues require that you hire certain vendors, while others just have a preferred list. If you have a certain caterer or vendor in mind for your wedding, make sure they are permitted before booking your venue. Often times, venues will require that your vendors are licensed + insured. Whatever the case, be sure the venue is right for you and your vendor needs.

5. Make multiple venue visits – The first time you visit a venue you might be so in awe that you overlook certain details. If you’re able to make a few visits to the venue, we’d highly recommend it! Along with making multiple visits, try to visit at different times of the day {and don’t forget to take photos}.

Favorite Friday | Shoulder Necklaces

Aren’t these shoulder necklaces and boleros simply stunning!? We are loving these for the bride looking to add extra sparkle to their bridal attire, whether it be something dainty, elegant, or a bit edgy. The great thing about these is that they can easily be removed for dancing and you can pair them with literally any strapless gown!

Reina is definitely my favorite – I love the modern simplicity of the design, the hint of sparkle, and the elegant way it drapes along the shoulders.

Pampering in a gorgeous Bridal Suite – ✔︎

“Coming off of a crazy busy engagement season and just prior to heading into wedding season, I wanted to pamper a group of planners that are near and dear to me. There was no doubt that Luxmore’s bridal suite was the perfect location with space for our vendor pals to set up hair & make up trials, bath bombs and spa items, revitalizing foot massages and of course, FLORAL CROWNS… because every girl deserves a crown! Treating these ladies to a relaxing night was super important and gave us all a great opportunity to catch up with some much needed girl time.”

Table of the Month | The Neutrals

Table AugustWelcome to our very first ‘Table of the Month’ series! Our goal with this series, is to show how one focal centerpiece can be used on different tables and styles. This month, we’ve chosen to play with neutrals; think – ivory, champagne and taupe. We felt florally inspired to showcase a tall trumpet vase, topped with a mix of ivory/white flowers and an array of greenery. The always lovely, Lesley, of Flowers by Lesley, fulfilled our neutral dreams! Go grab your favorite cozy beverage, and keep scrolling to see what we’ve created.

For our first table, we designed a romantic table with a touch of metallic sheen. To cover the round banquet table, we used the Taupe Shalimar linen from Over the Top, along with Ivory Lamour napkins. At each place setting, we chose to feature Gold Rim glass chargers along with the Brushed Gold flatware set from A Chair Affair. The white dinner and bread + butter plates belong to the Luxmore Grande Estate… SWOON! In the center of this metallic table, you’ll see the gorgeous, tall floral centerpiece. Ms. Lesley also incorporated three smaller floral pieces in mercury glass vases, along with ornate gold candle pillars. Upon looking at the different tables, you can see that we chose to use mahogany chiavari chairs throughout; We love how versatile these chairs are amongst different styles.

It’s no secret that this is our favorite design, *squeal*. This look just oozes elegance! Alright, enough gushing; let’s get down to business. We covered this captain’s table with Bentley Ivory linen from Over the Top. If you love the long table look, we highly recommend going with a captain’s table (8’48”) instead of a standard banquet table (8’x30”). Doing so makes the width of your table 18 inches wider – allowing space for chargers, flatware and beautiful centerpieces! At each place setting we displayed Silver Belmont chargers and Capri Stainless Steel flatware from A Chair Affair. Again, we featured china from the Luxmore Grande Estate, along with the Ivory Lamour napkins. Onto the good stuff – the floral! The tall centerpiece and smaller floral pieces were placed along the center of the table. Lesley also brought in small silver candle votives to dress up the look. Last but not least, the gorgeous chair drapes! Lesley had these in her arsenal, and we just LOVE how they instantly elevated the table. These would be beautiful for a head table, or even just the newlyweds themselves.

For our final table, we chose to showcase our Wesley farm table. At each place setting, you’ll notice the Taupe glass chargers, a personal favorite of ours. We brought the Brushed Gold flatware back, to give the table a slight mixed metals look, along with the Ivory Lamour napkins. Again, in the center of the table, is that stunning floral arrangement. For this look, Lesley put the smaller floral blooms atop mercury glass pillars, and incorporated the small silver candle votives. We draped the chair sashes a bit differently, to give it a simpler and chic feel. Add a cluster of blooms and greenery to the sashes, and voila! All of our rustic elegant dreams come true!

Tidbits + Tips | The Little Moments

Of course weddings are all about tying the knot and celebrating love, but we’ll never get enough of the little moments leading up to the ceremony. Our sweet clients Nicki + Ronnie {remember their wedding at Luxmore Grande?} exchanged gifts before saying “I Do,” and flipping through those photos just makes our hearts smile – their joy and excitement is just contagious!

Favorite Friday | The Black Tux

From hearing past experiences from grooms and their groomsmen, tux rentals can sometime be a pain to deal with. Shirts arrive in the wrong color, pants aren’t the right length, ties arrive in the wrong pattern, etc. That’s certainly not to say that this happens all the time, but who wants to deal with these problems on the last few days leading up to their wedding? That’s why I’m loving The Black Tux, a tuxedo + suit rental company that offers concierge service for all their rentals. Clients can choose their ensemble online, send in their measurements, and receive their items in the mail prior to the wedding. Not only is it a super simple + stress free process, but they offer some pretty dashing styles!

Real Wedding | Julia + Matt

Remember this beautiful wedding with lush floral and bold colors? We’re so excited to share more of Julia + Matt’s rustic, lakeside nuptials with you!

Firstly, can we all just take a moment to admire Julia’s stunning Watters gown?! It’s the perfect lightweight dress for an outdoor event, and most importantly, for twirling.

Watters Bridal Gown
We adore how the hues of champagne, blush + marsala tied together perfectly with touches of rustic details. We even got to team up with Lee James Floral to create a dreamy seating lounge used during cocktail hour. One of our favorite details, is our Berry settee – she makes such an impact!

Last but certainly not least – the sweets! The Sugar Suite crafted this scrumptious, partially naked, 4-tier cake. Also present, was an array of treats varying from pecan pie to strawberry blonde cupcakes. We just love how these goodies were displayed on our Victoria buffet!
