Bridal Shows 101

Conquering Bridal Shows in 4 Easy Steps

So you’re attending bridal shows? So fun!!! You and your bridesmaids are ready to meet vendors and enjoy tasty treats but you don’t know exactly what to expect at the show – the RW team is here to give you some tips on what to have ready prior and what to expect on show day.

1. Know who you want to meet. Lots of show hosts will post a list of vendors that will be advertising at the show, so take a peek before hand. If you know you want to focus on florists and bakers, highlight them on the list and then check out their websites and social media to get a better idea of their style and if they could be an option for your wedding.

2. Vendors will have inquiry forms available for your to fill out if you’re interested in meeting with them. These forms vary between vendors but typically request you + your fiance’s names, contact info, wedding date, and budget. Save yourself some time by creating labels with your general event info. Then just peel off your label, stick it on, and head to the next vendor!

3. Know your availability. You may have the opportunity to book appointments at the show, so have your planner ready with available dates/times for upcoming weekends and weekdays (don’t forget – most wedding vendors will have weekend events, so availability for those appointments may be far and few between).

4. Expect a lot of people. Bridal shows are kind of like speed dating for wedding vendors – you briefly chat about general event details and move on to the next vendor 😉 Since there are so many vendors available, you can expect there to be crowds and possible wait times. Popular vendors will have busy booths, but don’t fret! If you aren’t able to chat with a certain vendor, just be sure to fill out their info sheet and they’ll follow up with you. Pro tip: decide who your “must-sees” are before the show. If there are 10 vendors you know you want to visit, prioritize them so the most important ones are taken care of first. That will help you avoid waiting and give you more time to explore the show.

Oh, and don’t forget to enjoy the show! Just like a good theme park bridal shows can be a bit overwhelming at first, but with a general plan you’ll be able to navigate the show and meet all your favorite vendors in one day 🙂

Dynasty Collection // Wedding Rentals

New Inventory Alert

First thing, first! Shout out to our girl – Marsha with Events by 7 for helping us name this collection. She shares in our corniness (and wit) when it comes to selecting the perfect names for rental inventory.

You’ve asked, we’ve listened! After having several couples visit our Orlando showroom in search of luxurious rentals in bold colors, we decided to expand our vintage rental inventory by adding a luxury line of sofas, settees, and chairs. This collection is perfect for the discerning couple with an appreciation for craftsmanship and luxurious fabric. Our Dynasty Collection comes in 5 vibrant colors – navy, noir (black), emerald, blush, and sunflower. The luxurious velvet fabric was hand-selected by our team and will easily pair with most wedding color palettes. The blush and hunter are team favorites! Real Wedding // A Luxmore Grande Estate Favorite

Their stunning Luxmore Grande Estate Wedding

Sia and Nick’s estate wedding has become a Luxmore Grande Estate favorite! This amazing couple brought so much love, intimacy, and personality to their big day!

Sia and her bridesmaids brought so much laughter to our beautiful bridal suite. Sia also made a unique choice in choosing the library as the private setting to get ready with her mother.

The estate exterior made the perfect backdrop for Sia and Nick’s adorable first look before the ceremony. The group even posed for a few amazing portraits by our beautiful banana palms before walking down the aisle.

Bride Sia truly had a unique vision for her wedding, and her fabulous team of vendors helped make it a reality. From the dramatically draped outdoor ceremony (which we still cannot get over), her mixed farm table reception (provided by RW Events), and intricate floral detail. A live wedding band and artfully curated décor details brought their reception in the estate’s Grande ballroom to life! The mix of farm tables and round banquet tables at the reception was a great way to break up the layout, and add texture with the mixed linens.

The wedding came to close with a flurry of sparklers, but not before the bride and her guests made sure to dance the night away.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy July 4th
From the Luxmore + RW Events Family!

The 4th of July is the perfect time to reminisce and enjoy summer nostalgia. It is all about spending time with family; enjoying homey traditions, and of course taking in those fabulous fireworks! So with this we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share a few of our favorite Luxmore team traditions, from our family to yours!

ELIZABETH :: This 4th of July will be a little different for us. Typically it is a pool party with friends, champagne cocktails, grilling and fireworks at night. This year we will probably be nesting for our upcoming arrival in September, and then fireworks in the evening at Central Winds Park.

RACHEL :: My husband and I have a joint celebration in New Smyrna every year for his mother’s birthday, and the 4th of July. It’s a family affair that includes lots of yummy food and games. When it gets dark, we all walk over to the beach to enjoy the fireworks!

LACIE :: I grew up beachside near Cocoa watching the fireworks over the water. However this year my husband and I will be hosting 4th of July for the first time as newlyweds in our new house. We plan on breaking in our new grill and patio furniture while enjoying the fireworks in Uptown Altamonte!
