Muted Rainbow | Wedding Chicks Feature

We’re so excited to be a part of this stunning shoot, featured on Wedding Chicks! To read the full post, click here

The Muted Rainbow-inspired shoot was created by Roots to Stem, and we knew it was going to be amazing. We were so thrilled to be able to provide our Cane Louis chairs for the event and they look gorgeous at The Howey Mansion.

When we asked Alayna from Roots to Stem what inspired the colorful, whimsical design of this shoot, she said that they wanted to bring color to the “neutral” world that we see so much of these days, but they wanted to show that your wedding doesn’t have to be just one color, it can be many. And it can be fabulous and scream luxury all at the same time!

If you want to read more about their inspiration on wedding chicks, click here.

Oh, and we just can't get enough of these new pieces...

Check out some of our new inventory items that made it in the shoot!

    Tables, Chairs, + Chargers!

    Setting the table!

    Photo: Kartsie Photography

With so many options to choose from, deciding on the perfect wedding rentals can be quite the daunting task. Our team is happy to make suggestions based on your individual style. Whether you’re looking to design around farm tables, captain tables, round table, or a mix of all!

One of our most popular chairs, at the moment, is the Sand Louis chairs. We offer them in a standard option as well as cane back.

Yes! Farmhouse tables look great inside as well. Especially, when they are paired with the right chairs and stunning floral. This Luxmore Grande Estate wedding was spot on with all the right elements – including the Emerald Charger!

    Those Fall Colors…

    …Hit different! Wouldn’t you agree?

First of all, there’s no real fall weather in Florida. But that doesn’t stop us from being basic with the Pumpkin spice lattes and exaggerated use of persimmon, sage, emerald, and merlot.

**My neighbors decorated their front porch (in between the palm trees) with some faux leaves, bales of hay, and pumpkins (no judgement ;))**

But when it comes to tabletop… the fall color obsession is year-round!

    The floral

When planning out the tablescape we wanted to limit our use of gold accents since the floral was so vibrant.

The floral stands were a little sumthin’, sumthin’ we whipped up in-house. They’re stained with our signature wood and created that monochromatic look we didn’t know we needed 😉

Oh, and that table is Bubba paired with our Chic French Country Chairs

    Dorie | Styled Lounge

Random: while writing this post, I was struggling with a description for the shade of blue fabric on the Dorie sofa and chairs. It forced me to pull out the Pantone Color Guides (haha) – then I fell down the rabbit hole researching colors and decided it was time to paint a new accent wall. Anyone else ever do this?! LOL

    I digress! Focus, people, focus!

We’re here to talk about this super fun lounge styled with a ‘bohemian-esque’ vibe.

Lots of textiles and rattan sourced!

((textiles came from our gift store – Miscellaneous Market))

The Nala coffee table pictured has matching end tables. Check them out here!

    Studio 54 | Blondie

    Meet Blondie!

We’re obsessing over the new Studio (54) collection! This collection includes so many bold art-décor inspired pieces with sophisticated fabrics, sultry textures, and accent tables.

Quick little tidbit: Blondie comes with matching loveseat, too!

Wanna see some of our favorite pieces to pair with this beauty?! Good, because we’re about to show ya! 😉

While I kept the inspo very monochromatic, you can also mix it up and pair some bold colors too! Hit us up if you’d like ideas on how to style this beauty at your next event!

    Lennon | Double Peacock Chair

Who has two thumbs and does a whole post on a chair? This gal! 😉

Why? Because she’s pretty dope and deserves the spotlight. Lennon is definitely the rising star and one of our most requested pieces for baby showers and wedding receptions. She’s a pecan-colored, sturdy rattan two-seater with exaggerated scalloped edges.

Oh, yeah! This is her styled to perfection (by our friends at Ashton Events) at The Acre Orlando.

Hit us up and let us know if you’re planning a bohemian-inspired event (& need a double seated peacock chair).

    Neutral Bohemian

Bohemian isn’t synonymous with color. It’s simply socially unconventional in an artistic way.Bohemian styles are defined by their lack of structure, it’s a totally personalized styled with a blend of textures, textiles, and accents.

For this neutral bohemian lounge, we pulled in our Sand furniture collection and lots of playful accents. Accents to include: rattan tables, macrame, and layered textiles. Our floral partner, Lesley, tied in a neutral, yet exotic floral aesthetic designed around protea.

    Textiles for the win!!

We opted for neutral layered pillows to create a clean and sophisticated look. While adding pops of color in the floral, only.

Ok, seriously, what’s not to love about it: neutral color palette, wood trim, easy to style/design… not to mention the soft linen fabric that complements our Sand dining chair.

    Hexley Arch

Yeah, yeah… we know! You guys wished we carried more arches 😉

While it’s not something we plan to add, we did build this beauty for one of our floral partners (and decided to keep it around for a bit).

Meet Hexley. He’s been popping in and out of ceremonies throughout Central Florida!

    Pampas!!

Ok, quick sidebar to focus on the pampas grass. This flowering plant accented the base of the arch to create a chic design.

Have questions about the vendors involved with this event, drop us a line for more information: [email protected]

    Bronson

Bronson is a sophisticated faux leather-cognac-mid-century modern inspired sofa (gosh, that was a mouthful)! This beauty comes with matching chairs and it’s so versatile when it comes to design. We’ve placed Bronson in a cigar lounge, flanked around the dancefloor, and in a hotel ballroom with hues of yellow – each lounge introduced a new color palette and aesthetic. All in all, they complemented the sleekness of the sofa perfectly.

For this featured lounge we went with a desert bohemian vibe in an analogous color scheme. Creating a relaxing mood. Photographed by our girl Ashley Jane Photography

    Bubba | Feasting Table

It’s no secret, we are obsessed with farmhouse tables – we’re always looking for an excuse to create a new design, size, or custom stain. After noticing many of our couples pushing tables together to create a feasting table for their bridal party – our Bubba table was designed.

Did you know farmhouse tables are also referred to as harvest tables. Modern farmhouse tables have a rustic tabletop and often incorporate some type of galvanized steel or hairpin legs.

Some quick facts about the table:

    • It comfortably seats 20 people when using standard chairs such as chiavaris with guests surrounding the table.
    • French country chairs are a bit wider, when using them we’d recommend no more than 18 guests
    • It is approximately 16ft long
    • It weighs a ton. Okay, maybe not a ton but he is heavy!
    • It’s perfect for dinner parties too 🙂
    • It’s becoming one of our more popular table rentals (we’re off to build a few more)

    Til next time friends!

    Xoxo,

    RW Gals

    That Girl Dorie

    Hey Dorie + Friends!

Yep! Doris is that gorgeous velvety blue sofa and chair set pictured below. Lately, she’s been popping up all over central Florida at both weddings and social events.

One of our favorite features about the Dorie set is the flexibility with how she’s designed. We can easily go for a mid-century modern vibe or boho vibe by simply selecting the right textiles and accent pieces. We’ve even designed this set moody and edgy by bringing in dark, merlot floral and black accents.

Oh, and peep our double-seat peacock chair! Lennon is the name.

Grayson Ceremony Chairs | Inventory Highlight

    Grayson Ceremony Chairs
    Grayson Ceremony Chairs
    Photo: That First Moment

While we love all of our upholstered seating and farm tables, there are some other fun options we love to play with! Running two wedding venues keeps us flooded with requests for the classis Chiavari and Rustic French Country ceremony chairs. But sometimes we think, “been there, done that!” That’s why we love when couples trust us to think outside the box! Our Grayson ceremony chairs are just that, outside the norm, and that’s why they’re one of our favs. They’re perfect for ceremony set ups with an industrial venue vibe or even that rooftop atmosphere!

    Seating Collections

RW Style is synonymous for chic seating collections at weddings and events. When we introduced vintage pieces to the central Florida market, it was quite the rave!

Well, our couples have spoken, and like us, they wanted something new. In 2019 we started curating a bespoke collection of rattan, natural wood, and jewel tones pieces in bold velvet and chenille fabrics. Making our seating collections the perfect accessory bohemian + modern décor.

Because of this, we’ve created groupings to spark conversation.

Groupings that can be tucked in a corner, placed near the bar, or staged around the dance floor.

The question we’re asked most about the seating collection… What is the difference between a conversation set and a social lounge? 😉

    The Conversation Set

A conversation set is an intimate grouping designed for comfort and socializing. The conversation sets include seating for 3-5 guests. Warm and welcoming, it’s the perfect set up to inspire authentic conversations with strangers and friends alike. Oh, and let’s not forget the awesome photo op it presents.

    The Social Lounge

The social lounge is great for mingling and catching up with a group of family, friends, and/or colleagues. We’ll stage a personality driven set full of textures + textiles with seating for up to 10 guests. The social lounge is the perfect backdrop wholesome belly laughs and great conversation.

    Hans: The Bohemian Edition

We’re all about satisfying your inner wanderlust! And baaabay bohemian décor checks off every box. The furnishings, accessories, dried floral, potted plants, artistic displays, patterns + textures are a combination of everything we love thrown together in the most stylish vignettes.

Now look, we totally understand there are so many ways to style bohemian style decor: vintage, sophisticated, global, romantic, and tropical are our favs! Which one do you prefer?

Before we even get into the styling aspect, here’s a quick picture of how it looks before we add the styling elements. Boring, right?

    Some little styling style thingy's

Let’s drop in some chic planters filled with plants – that are STILL alive!!

    Textiles, check!

    Let's switch it up!

We used more rattan and natural elements for this look. That vintage bohemian bookshelf was the perfect find!

Shout out to our girl, Ashley Jane Photography, for always putting up with us as we “play” with inventory! You da best 🙂

    What is styling?

    ...it's all in the details!

Style is defined as a distinctive appearance, typically determined by the principles according to which something is designed.

When we started using the term ‘styling’ to describe our design approach, it wasn’t a word widely used to describe the design approach in weddings & events. As of late, the term is being used more and more by wedding professionals.

To us, it’s a whole mood. It’s a design aesthetic that evokes emotion and screams “You see me!”

It’s the environment we create, with the client’s vision & personalities at the forefront. Style is RW Events’ way of transforming spaces into picturesque, photographable vignettes.

Whether you’re looking for a romantic, euro-vintage vibe or an ethnic bohemian vibe… we’ve got ya covered!

The style aesthetic of the event feature was vintage romance. We used an assortment of vintage candelabras, candlesticks, an abundance of LED candles, and classic white floral from our girl, Flowers by Lesley

    Luxe Chairs

It’s more than just a chair, it’s a statement piece! From the gold metal frame & sleek design, we’re here for it!

Looking for a break from the traditional chiavari chair? So were we! We were looking for something elegant and versatile. Not to mention a chair that came with the option of easily swapping out pads. Y’all will never understand how important this is to a rental company 😉

To date, the Luxe chair is definitely one of our favorites to design with. The same goes to our friend, friend Emily with Treasury Rentals

With so many great creatives in the Central Florida area, venturing over to Haus 820 to work with Dson Photography

Sand Louis Chairs | Cypress Grove Ceremony

The gazebo at Cypress Grove Estate House is so versatile and easy to decorate! Something as simple as swapping out the standard garden chairs with the luxurious feeling Sand Louis Chairs. It’s a chic upgrade to this lakeside ceremony space.

The neutral color palette of the chairs makes it a breeze to style and design around.

    Details + Decor

Flowers by Lesley did an amazing job adding pops of color to the ceremony space. The hues of pink and greenery was the perfect touch, wouldn’t you agree?!

    This side view – Y A S S S!!

Have you seen the new Prescott Tables? They look great with the sand chairs 😉

Special thanks to our gal, Ashley Jane Photography, for the amazing images.

    Auden Bookshelf | Inventory Highlight

Who doesn’t love a good bookshelf? They’re great accent pieces and allow you to add even more personalization to a space. We love using them for dessert displays, champagne displays, and incorporating them into our social lounges!

Auden is the newest addition to our bookshelf collection, and we must say, she looks fantastic with so many of our pieces! Her natural wood color makes her a great match with any color palette, and she has five shelves on which to feature items. We love how she’s styled here with floral and fun decor pieces!

Sideboards | Welcome to the Family, Ralphy!

Our newest sideboard, Ralphy, paired with Ice.

Boy, did we have a busy summer! A production shoot, prepping for fall wedding season, and adding new inventory have kept us on our toes! Joining the family are new upholstered pieces, sideboards, and more!

Which brings us to… Ralphy! He’s one of our newest sideboards and we love the vibe he brings! The rattan webbing makes him great for our boho brides, and the drawer style + mini legs give him a fun, modern twist.

    Our newest sideboard, Ralphy!

He looks fantastic with so many of our pieces, and our pal, Melanie Paige Events, recently paired him with our new Ice chairs. What do you think of this combo? We adore the neutral tones of the tables + textiles with the pops of blue!

Our newest sideboard, Ralphy, paired with Ice.

    Captured by Kartsie Photography

He’s the perfect size for lots of options – a social lounge, a cake display, or even a welcome station! Melanie opted to style him in a social lounge and used him as a photo opp for the cake 😉

Ralphy is a modern, boho sideboard.
Our newest Ice chairs are a lovely shade of slate blue and look great with our sideboards!

    Wedding Tablescapes for Days

Not to brag, but we know how to design stunning wedding tablescapes. Styling is our jam, and as we prepped for fall wedding season, we decided to invite others to join us in a two-day style session! Wedding planners, photographers, florists, bakers, and calligraphers all brought their A-game and styled the day away with us! We showcased some of our favorite tables, chairs, and chargers, along with table settings from Treasury Rentals.

It was the perfect way to ease ourselves back into busy season and to see some new + familiar faces. We’re so grateful to all the vendors who joined us and we cannot resist sharing a few sneak peeks from the day with you!

Fern and Curl Designs styled blooms for two wedding tablescapes in front of the bay window. Her first design is perfect for fall and features resin floral favors by Rejoice and Blossom Art. On day two she partnered with Melanie Paige Events for a bright, organic look paired with our brand-new luxe chairs!

If anything, these two days showed us just how important flowers and greenery are for styling a beautiful tablescape! We’ve got to give a huge thank you to all of the vendors who joined us and we can’t wait to reveal more photos soon! We’ve been if we’ll do this again… The answer is yes, but give us a few months to recover, and buy new inventory 😉

    Bohemian Inspired Decor

Tropical Decor | Our newest inventory pairs perfectly with tropical inspired decor.

It’s always a great day when we have new rental + styling goodies to play with. And that makes today even better because we have LOTS of new pieces! Meet the newest members of the inventory family! These pieces work perfectly if you’re incorporating tropical decor into your event.

Tropical Decor | Our newest inventory pairs perfectly with tropical inspired decor.

Melody, one of our newest sofas, is a stunning shade of blush and features a plush velvety texture. We love pairing her with some rattan pieces to give her more of a casual vibe. But, she works great with modern pieces too! And the natural foliage at Luxmore Grande Estate provides the perfect, tropical-inspired backdrop for this lounge setup 😍 Imagine being a guest at this wedding and having such a stylish space to relax in!

    Images: Jessica Jones Photography

Sebastian is one of our most unique bar carts and makes for a fun accent piece to this relaxed social lounge. Paired with the Nala coffee table, a set of end tables, and some fun textiles, this lounge is the perfect place for your guests to relax and mingle! Want to add a touch more tropical decor? Incorporate some Philodendron Monstera or Areca Palm for a fun pop of color! Our selection of textiles, available to all of our styling clients, finishes off the look and makes this lounge picture perfect!

Something Blue | Bold Blue Hue

Are wedding traditions a thing of the past? Specifically, traditions such as something old, something new, something borrowed, something BLUE. Did you know this saying came from and old English rhyme?

I have absolutely no idea where I was going with this question, lol! It was a thought I had as I decided to showcase the gorgeous Aries sofa in the Dynasty Collection. This rich hue of blue makes it an easy sofa to pair various color palettes. Style tip: Whether you’re going for rich jewel tones or a softer palette with a dusty blue or soft pink. Aries pairs nicely with both.

Aries comes with a matching settee that shares her rich velvety texture, modern gold legs, and exaggerated tufting.

And yes! If you’re going for jewel tones in the lounge… we totally think you should carry it to the dining tables as well. How stunning is this rich blue velvet linen from Over the Top? The bold arrangement from Flowers by Lesley tied merlot into the palette and we softened it a bit by adding elegant place-settings from Treasury Rentals.

Signature Cocktail | Perfectly Paired With a Twist

    Cocktails + Rentals

It’s fair to say that the décor at your wedding sets the tone for your day. Why stop there? You always can add to the ambiance by pairing your rental pieces with a signature cocktail that speaks the same language. Unsure how to match your drinks with your rentals? Don’t worry, that’s a language we are fluent in!  See some of our favorite pairings below 😉

    Moscow Mule

This light and refreshing cocktail is served in its signature copper mug which speaks to the bohemian aesthetic. All drinks need a home and the Dublin bar is the perfect addition to a boho wedding and will elevate the look of a standard bar. The next pairing on the list is the Lennon chair set, this wicker throne like piece makes a statement and is the perfect addition to a head or sweetheart! We also love a boho wedding with a dash of color, the Sunflower Sofa is the perfect place for your guests to lounge as they sip their Moscow Mule!

The ingredients: Vodka, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice

    Old Fashioned

This bourbon based cocktail has a bit of kick but plays well with a modern feel. The sleek and contemporary Aries Settee has subtle gold accent which pops next to its Royal Blue velvet. Keeping the gold accents consistent upgrade the look of your reception with the impeccably named Black Luxe Chairs and Gold Rimmed Charger for a sophisticated feel paired well with a sophisticated signature cocktail.

The ingredients: Bourbon, Bitters, Simple Syrup, Orange Wheel

    French 75

The French 75 is a refreshing and citrusy, sparkling champagne cocktail with a hint of gin 😉. Champagne has always had its place on wedding day, repurpose The Gwen Bookshelf for your welcome drink display! Place at your venues entrance and as your guests walk in they’ll be able to grab this champagne cocktail as they find their seat. Keeping the French theme going enhance your ceremony setting with the Sand Louis chairs. Sipping their French 75 while seated in soft, slightly distressed chairs plays well with the overall French inspired theme. After a night of dancing and sipping your signature cocktail, your guests will surely want a comfy seat. Create a lounge set that complements perfectly with the Daisy Sofa!

The ingredients: Gin, Simple Syrup, Lemon Twist, Champagne

    Color Pop: Sunflower + Merlot

Are you tired of seeing the same wedding color palettes and itching to do something different? Have you thought about using bold and vibrant colors, but don’t know how to piece them together? We’ve got just the combo for you! Whether you are going with a vintage or modern vibe, these two colors make a statement! Sunflower and Merlot are the perfect color combination to create a bold statement.

If you’re going for a Modern look, check out our Hans sofa and chairs would pair nicely with a mix of merlot blooms to compliment it.

Pictured above is the  Sunflower  and Garnet  make the perfect duo when paired with a neutral sofa like  Garrett . Or If you’re not sure about going THAT bold, try incorporating these statement colors with pillows on a neutral sofa set. If you’re going for a vintage vibe, pieces like the Sunflower sofa and Berry Jr. chairs are the perfect complement to each other. Tie the look together with neutral blooms and greenery to pull it all together.

Basically, what we’re saying, is don’t be afraid to go bold and make a statement! If you’re unsure how to pull it all together, we’ve got you covered. Our design team would love to chat with you!

    Loungin’ at The Acre

This dapper couple has a keen eye for style and loves a jewel toned palette as much as we do!

They tied the knot at The Acre Orlando. Curating a bold and colorful lounge in this white space was only fitting. That jewel toned obsession runs deep with our clients, too! Check out this lounge we styled for an Acre bride. She wanted a conversation set in rich hues of black, blue, and green. Naturally, we used touches of gold as an accent while livening the space up with fresh greenery.

We love working with and meeting vendors in the wedding industry. We had the opportunity to attend and sponsor some fun, colorful rentals for the Knot Wedding Pro Experience. The Wedding Pro experience is a seminar for wedding industry professionals and it was so fun to meet and mingle with a great group of people! The event took place at the gorgeous Four Seasons Resort and featured some of our fun rental pieces! We had so much fun learning and networking!

Setting the Stage with Colorful Rentals

    Yellow Inspired Social Lounge

We’re obsessed with the colorful rentals in this lounge set and we’re feeling the tropical vibes! The vignette’s framed with three Living Walls, incorporating a mix of tropical greenery for a unique spin on your typical hedge wall. The mustard color of our Krystal sofa and Sunflower chair complements the wildflower floral arrangements by Flowers by Lesley, making for a gorgeous backdrop for this incredible event!

The ballroom set everyone up for success, giving attendees a writing space and comfy seating with our white and gold Louis chairs. This luxe look perfectly complements the stunning recessed chandeliers!

    Lovely Lounging & Champagne Break

We love our Sand collection paired with our Esmerelda coffee table! The whole look is finished off with tropical floral arrangements and some brightly colored throw pillows. A fun champagne station was also created with our bookshelves, Elaine coffee table, and Kelly sideboard!

But what did we learn? Check out our favorite tips from some leaders within the wedding industry!

Incorporate Pomodoro into your workflow. Pomodoro is a time-management strategy that breaks tasks down into 25-minutes intervals to help make them more manageable.

It’s all about networking! Connect with others by attending mixers – the shared experience will help foster organic connections and build your circle!

Bubba Feasting Table | Inventory Highlight

Our Bubba feasting tables seats up to 20 people!

The epitome of a table fit for royalty, our Bubba feasting table has enough elegance to elevate any event and the versatility to adapt to any vision or style. As one of the most unique and recognizable pieces in the RW Style inventory, Bubba is always ready to be the center of attention!

Although he may seem daunting because of his size, Bubba is surprisingly adaptable to any seating situation – he can be a showstopping head table for eight or a grand feasting table for twenty. Really want to make a statement? Rent a few Bubba tables to frame your dance floor or rent a few more and use them as reception tables to seat all your wedding guests.

Our Bubba feasting table works well with every style!

While his size makes him stand out in a crowd, his design is what makes him extraordinary. Although Bubba is the same size as two of our popular Caroline farm tables, his one-of-a-kind pedestal means there’s no seam where two Caroline tables would meet. Since Bubba’s base supports the middle of the table from underneath, there are no table legs for your guests to compete with – meaning you can fit an extra guest on each long side. Now that’s what I call ingenuity!

Rustic, glam, bohemian – Bubba can do it all. Check out these photos of him in action and I’m sure you’ll fall head over heels for him as I did.

    Jewel Toned Lounge

Did someone ask for a mid-century inspired lounge? Yes, yes they did.

    And I obliged!

Designing with bold, rich, colors is my absolute fav! In this rental collection, I paired the Dorie sofa with Garnet chairs blending a blue and merlot color palette. The lounge was accented with a combination of short and tall arrangements from my go to floral designer – Flowers by Lesley – giving the lounge a dramatic and elegant feel.

The great thing about this rental grouping is the versatility of going inside of a luxurious ballroom or outside at a venue such as The Acre Orlando or Cypress Grove Estate House. This particular one is going to the Orange County Convention Center for a few days 😉

Quick tip: when designing lounges for multi-day rentals, we choose floral that doesn’t require a lot of TLC and oftentimes opt for potted plants or lots of greenery.

Did you notice Lacie pictured above? Textiles is her thing! No matter what venue we’re traveling to throughout Central Florida, you can best believe she has a neatly packed bin of pillows, rugs for layering, and throws to add a pop of color. She’s is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to “tossing” said pillows, too.

Before I forget, the pictured mid-century modern buffet (yeah, the one hiding in the corner) – his name is Harry.

Designer tip: adding a buffet or sideboard to a lounge grouping gives the renter extra storage for collateral/marketing materials. If the lounge is being used at a wedding, the extra storage is great for favors or storing gifts.

    Jewel Tones // Spring Inspiration

One of the things our couples love most about Cypress Grove is the Old Florida feel which is so hard to find anymore, especially in Orlando! Once surrounded by orange groves, we wanted to play into that old Florida citrus plantation feel and use the Estate’s surroundings to complement that aesthetic.

With the sunlight reflecting off gorgeous Lake Jessamine, golden rays project stunning shades of pinks and oranges which we wanted to capture in the showcased floral. The house itself stands beautifully in a crisp white with emerald green shutters to accent so the same palette was used for our linens and candy buffet. We wanted to show our couples the very landscapes they fell in love with could be implemented into their wedding day details.

We focused on rentals that our couples love to see – a unique dessert display, wood elements, and rustic chairs to complement. Our emerald buffet was the perfect accent piece to Florida Candy Buffet’s colorful display. Our Wesley farm tables and matching French Country Chairs added the southern elegance our couples love and paired wonderfully with our linen covered Captain’s tables! Incorporating two table styles adds such a fun design element 😉

    Featured Inventory | Iceland

    Curating a collection

Yes, we’re pickers; we’re always sourcing and gathering new items for our vintage inventory. During downtime, we can be found at local antique fairs, boutique shops, and flea markets.

While working through a local market, I passed these vintage carts several times. They were filthy, tarnished, missing wheels and needed a lot of TLC. Then Dede spotted them and immediately saw potential. For instance, floral stands or dessert stands.

After a few weeks in the shop, she’s done and ready for events! Meet, Iceland.

Seems like Dede and Flowers by Lesley  had the perfect idea for this floral stand. Afterall, why would we let gorgeous blooms go to waste. Guests can easily enjoy them for days following the event!

Special thanks to AIS Portraits for the stunning photos.

Bohemian Inspired | The Acre Orlando

Bohemian Tablescape at The Acre Orlando

Our bohemian brides love The Acre Orlando, almost as much as we do for weddings + social events. After all, what’s not to love.

The space below is their Mirror Patio – it’s covered with ivy walls complete with outdoor fireplace. Our design team added a macrame chandelier above the feasting table. Our feasting table was dressed with Shibori inspired linen from Nuage Designs  and an array of eclectic centerpieces.

We’ve been obsessed with shades of blue for quite some time – naturally, we were excited when the chosen palette included textiles (full of texture) in warm shades of blue. The table arrangements featured gold cacti, terrariums, blue pottery filled vases protea and exotic wild flowers. We decided to keep the table design eclectic by blending wood table chargers with crystal coupes and sleek flatware.

***did you peep the hanging macrame in the “windows” – it was a perfect accent to their ivy wall. When designing, our stylist will help you enhance and bring out the natural elements of your chosen venue. You know, like hanging macrame in open spaces.

This bohemian inspired tablescape featured the following rentals: captain tables, macrame chandelier, french country chairs, and blue vases. Our friends at Treasury Rentals provided the wood chargers, flatware and glassware. Stationery was provided by Andi Mejia Designs.

Our girl, Lesley, with Flowers by Lesley whipped up the floral and it was captured by The Hendricks.

Real Wedding // Melissa + Jen

We’ll admit it – blogging our events is something we need to get better with. Why not start with a few of our favorite events over the past couple of years! First up, Melissa + Jen’s hip wedding reception.

These ladies were some of the coolest we’ve worked with in a long time. Between their taste in fashion, floral, music and food – I felt a personal invite to the wedding would have been acceptable since we were long lost friends 🙂

Random: Can you believe this image below was taken at Cypress Grove Estate House? We love when photographers capture the property’s uniqueness. I’m sure you’re wondering where this is located –  it’s to the left of the gazebo, along the path, past the trees… (sounds like fairy tale directions, huh ;))

    Getting Ready/The First Look

Back to their wedding  – Let’s start by breaking all the traditions! Not only did they see each other prior to the ceremony, they got ready together at Grand Bohemian Hotel. Watching Melissa and Jen, through the lens of Gian Carlo Photography, help each other with hair, makeup, polish and everything in between was so heart warming and exciting. The love these ladies have for each other is a pure joy to witness.

    The Wedding Party

It was inevitable that their wedding party would be just as cool as them – these ladies and gents exude a cool and confident demeanor. Their personalities were reflective, not only in the dresses and ties they wore, but the floral bouquets and boutonnieres too. Oh, and did you notice the bride’s bouquets and how uniquely different they are.

    Decor + Floral

Ain’t no party like a Cypress Grove party, cause a Cypress Grove party don’t stop (until 10pm, that is – silly noise ordinance). Not only was the music a priority, the decor was at the top of the list too. They layout included a couple of vintage social lounges (complete with cigars), family style seating, and so many little details.

    Merlot + Copper

Nicole and Michael held their outdoor wedding at Cypress Grove Estate House! Featuring  one of my most favorite colors – merlot! This rich hue made an appearance in their stationery suite and throughout the floral. It was even in their specialty rentals from our inventory.

Pro tip :: incorporating your color palette or a particular design into your invites gives guests a taste of what to expect at your wedding.
Our floral bestie,  Lesley with Flowers by Lesley, dreamed up a simple but oh, so romantic ceremony-scape. It was complete with flowy white draping and gorgeous gazebo arrangements. Not to mention, the lovely lush garland to drape the back row of seating. And can we talk about how gorgeous these bridesmaids bouquets are? Above all, the hanging amaranthus is the perfect touch! The vintage rentals selected was a mix of rented sofas + chairs from our Chicago and Santa Rosa collections. They also rented farmhouse tables, crossback chairs, and  copper chargers to add a pop of color.  In addition to, great texture in the reception space.
Pro tip :: feature a mix of traditional rounds with rustic farm tables for a unique reception look.
