Did someone ask for a mid-century inspired lounge? Yes, yes they did.
And I obliged!
Designing with bold, rich, colors is my absolute fav! In this rental collection, I paired the Dorie sofa with Garnet chairs blending a blue and merlot color palette. The lounge was accented with a combination of short and tall arrangements from my go to floral designer – Flowers by Lesley – giving the lounge a dramatic and elegant feel.
The great thing about this rental grouping is the versatility of going inside of a luxurious ballroom or outside at a venue such as The Acre Orlando or Cypress Grove Estate House. This particular one is going to the Orange County Convention Center for a few days 😉
Quick tip: when designing lounges for multi-day rentals, we choose floral that doesn’t require a lot of TLC and oftentimes opt for potted plants or lots of greenery.
Did you notice Lacie pictured above? Textiles is her thing! No matter what venue we’re traveling to throughout Central Florida, you can best believe she has a neatly packed bin of pillows, rugs for layering, and throws to add a pop of color. She’s is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to “tossing” said pillows, too.
Before I forget, the pictured mid-century modern buffet (yeah, the one hiding in the corner) – his name is Harry.
Designer tip: adding a buffet or sideboard to a lounge grouping gives the renter extra storage for collateral/marketing materials. If the lounge is being used at a wedding, the extra storage is great for favors or storing gifts.
Y’all, Winter here! I’m so excited to report that I’m retiring from weddings. Yes, you heard me correctly, RETIRING – I’m no longer available for rentals. After 6+ years of being delivered to some of the most amazing wedding venues throughout Central Florida, I’m passing “the cake” to some of these younger sideboards.
Some sage advice for these new retro sideboards moving into the warehouse – Weddings are exhausting! You’re standing on your feet for six plus hours – inexperienced planners have us there for 12+ hours for “room shots”, holding a 1000 pound wedding cake- slight exaggeration, full of floral accents (my allergies could barely handle), with people oohing and awing over you. Child, it was not easy, but I made it happen for so many amazing RW Style couples.
Now you’ve probably got questions about my aging legs and whether or not I’m sturdy. While I was well loved by our brides, I was well taken care of by the Cowart’s. I’m hoping this retirement takes me to an amazing home full of laughter, happiness, and some entertaining. Did y’all enter to win?
Oh goodness, I’m forgetting the best part… they’ll give me a mini makeover to ensure I fit perfectly in your home – with a fresh coat of paint (several colors to choose from) and a selection of hardware.
One of the things our couples love most about Cypress Grove is the Old Florida feel which is so hard to find anymore, especially in Orlando! Once surrounded by orange groves, we wanted to play into that old Florida citrus plantation feel and use the Estate’s surroundings to complement that aesthetic.
With the sunlight reflecting off gorgeous Lake Jessamine, golden rays project stunning shades of pinks and oranges which we wanted to capture in the showcased floral. The house itself stands beautifully in a crisp white with emerald green shutters to accent so the same palette was used for our linens and candy buffet. We wanted to show our couples the very landscapes they fell in love with could be implemented into their wedding day details.
We focused on rentals that our couples love to see – a unique dessert display, wood elements, and rustic chairs to complement. Our emerald buffet was the perfect accent piece to Florida Candy Buffet’s colorful display. Our Wesley farm tables and matching French Country Chairs added the southern elegance our couples love and paired wonderfully with our linen covered Captain’s tables! Incorporating two table styles adds such a fun design element 😉
Yes, we’re pickers; we’re always sourcing and gathering new items for our vintage inventory. During our downtime, you’ll find us at local antique fairs, boutique shops, and flea markets on the hunt for unique pieces to add to our inventory. We found three of these guys below at a flea market outside of Orlando.
As we were walking through, I passed them several times. They were filthy, tarnished, missing wheels and needed a lot of TLC… When one of our stylist spotted them, she immediately saw potential and came up with a plan to refurbish the pieces for an upcoming wedding.
After a few weeks in the shop, it was refurbished and named Iceland. Potential is in the eye of the beholder 😉
Our stylist, Dede, partnered with Flowers by Lesley to create a floral stand. The floral stand would allow guests to grab the blooms of their choice to take home after the event. Wax kraft paper was provided for the guests to package their selections.
Your statement piece is seen as a direct reflection of your personality and is often associated with your signature style. It’s a mood without using words.
The Bubba farmhouse table is one of those rental items our couples often use as a statement piece for their wedding reception. They’ll typically design the table in a dramatic manner to showcase their individual personality and set the tone for the event. This couple rented two tables to flank the dance floor for their wedding party and close friends. When entering the wedding reception, your eyes couldn’t help but notice the head table and cake table – they were the overall ‘centerpiece’ of the reception space.
Lee James Floral did an amazing job with the centerpiece and decor for the head tables. The garland was dripping with exotic floral, vintage candlesticks and arrangements throughout. Did you peep the merlot and black candles!
Caroline Tables, French Country Chairs, + Jack Bar
The Caroline farmhouse tables are a favorite for our central Florida clients. We’re not sure if its her elegant legs or custom stain, whatever it is, we love seeing it paired with French Country Chairs.
Fun Fact: We offer bundled packages (at a discounted rate) when renting tables and chairs together. Add on chargers to save even more.
These Sand Louis Chairs from our sister company, RW Style, offered a chic option to our standard white garden chairs. Don’t get me wrong, we love the look of the garden chairs too, but after seeing them used in hundreds of weddings and events, a change is good ?
One of the best attributes of the Sand Louis Chairs is their ability to provide a neutral color palette for the ceremony space – making it easy for floral designers to pops of color with ease.
Details + Decor
Flowers by Lesley did an amazing job adding pops of color to the ceremony space. The hues of pink and greenery was the perfect touch, wouldn’t you agree?!

It’s no secret, we are obsessed with farmhouse tables – we’re always looking for an excuse to create a new design, size, or custom stain. After noticing many of our couples pushing tables together to create a feasting table for their bridal party – our Bubba table was designed.
Did you know farmhouse tables are also referred to as harvest tables. Modern farmhouse tables have a rustic tabletop and often incorporate some type of galvanized steel or hairpin legs.
Some quick facts about the table:
It comfortably seats 20 people when using standard chairs such as chiavaris with guests surrounding the table.
French country chairs are a bit wider, when using them we’d recommend no more than 18 guests
It is approximately 16ft long
It weighs a ton. Okay, maybe not a ton but he is heavy!
It’s perfect for dinner parties too 🙂
It’s becoming one of our more popular table rentals (we’re off to build a few more)
Have you seen our fabulous new collections? Each one is unique in the pieces it features and they come in a variety of sizes to suit your guest count. One of our favs, Aspen, features a neutral palette, making it a perfect option for adding colorful textiles + pillows!
Casa Feliz is such a lovely venue on its own but add our vintage rentals and some lush floral and you’ve got yourself the most romantic Spanish style venue in Central Florida! A small patio made the perfect hideaway for the bride + groom to share a sweet moment together before joining their guests at the reception.
Bubba is the latest addition to our family of farm tables – he’s super handsome and can seat up to 20 people, making him the perfect option for head tables and feasting tables. Pair him with some french country chairs and lush florals for an even more elegant feel!
