The Beauty of Portraits // Southern Wedding

It’s the final week of our mini-series on a luxurious southern wedding inspired shoot we hosted at Luxmore Grande Estate. Our little hearts are so excited to share the final details with you! So far, we’ve talked about welcoming your guests with a fun station, the aesthetics of the ceremony, how to deck out the reception space, and all about the little details. To finish us off, we’re sharing about the beauty of portraits!

As essential as a well designed ceremony + reception are, it’s just as necessary for the bridal styling to encompass the overall theme; the look featured in our southern styled shoot is an embodiment of Luxmore Grande Estate!

The beautiful gown from Solutions Bridal Designer House was the perfect fit for the clean and elegant atmosphere of the Estate. The dress and bridal style melded perfectly into the rest of the décor & details. The unique floral print of the dress also brought in a chic and sophisticated new age air to the overall look.

The curated spaces, and details as a whole provided so many gorgeous opportunities for bridal portrait shots. It was hard to pick which ones were our favorites!

Lacie

Bridal Fashion Week // NYC

If you think meeting with bridal designers, attending The Knot Gala {I got to meet THE Miss Hayley Paige!}, and casually chatting with your favorite designer sounds like a dream, YOU’RE RIGHT. I’m still on cloud 9 from this year’s NY Bridal Fashion Week and I cannot stop smiling. Not only is New York just so cool {especially to a Florida Native} but getting the chance to really sit down and just witness how bridal fashion works was everything.

We were lucky enough to tag along with Solutions Bridal for their designer meetings and literally I had no idea what to expect! Everyone we met with was just so sweet and so excited for mine and Dede’s first trip to fashion week, and then immediately everyone got right to business!

Here’s a little snippet of how it goes:

The designers showcase their upcoming collection and the salon looks at a ton of dresses. I was for sure overwhelmed but in a good way, of course! While this is happening, they’re going through the buying booklets, snapping photos, chatting about different colors, liners, veils, accessories and trying to pick the perfect pieces for the store. I pretty much took 400 photos, said “oooohhhhh look at that one” to every dress, and tried to keep up!

The first day we met with 5 designers, from the minute we landed we were in back to back meetings, it was incredible. I was exhausted by 3pm for sure, I don’t know how stores go to 3-4 days of this! But you can’t miss out on anything! I loved learning about new styles, what’s about to be trendy and the mechanics of dresses (and jumpsuits!). I see a lot of wedding dresses every week, but I never really looked at the differences between each one and how they fit. Let’s just say, I know now I’ll need to have 4 dress changes for my future wedding!

Here are a few of my favorites!

Basically, Bridal Fashion Week is everything I could have imagined and more, for real. I cannot thank Solutions Bridal and of course RW Events enough for the totally perfect trip 😊

Xoxo,
Sarah

Mon Amour Styled Shoot

A few months ago we got to style a fabulous photo shoot, captured flawlessly by Amalie Orrange Photography, and boy was it pretty! Gorgeous blooms, sweet treats {including a crêpe cake}, and our vintage furniture made this French inspired shoot totally swoon-worthy!

Charlesetta + Togo | Holy Trinity Church

Last week we blogged a sneak peek from Charlesetta + Togo’s wedding, so, as promised, here are more of the {fabulous} details from their wedding! We were so elated to assist them in planning their destination wedding. Our favorite detail from their wedding was the Garrett Popcorn favors and THIS gorgeous ceremony backdrop.

Cheers, to years of wedded bliss!

Sneak Peek || RW Styling Tour

Vintage rentals, the picturesque Orlando venue, and a brilliant team of vendors are the essential components for our Lookbook Styling Tour. The RW Events’ team is kicking things off by showcasing our vintage dining chairs, mismatched china, rustic farm tables, and the talented floral artistry from our friends at Weddings by Carly Anes. Here is a little sneak peek from KMD Creations… We can’t wait to share more!

P.S. Stay tuned to see our team in action at Maitland Art Center, Bella Collina, The Acre, and Cypress Grove Estate House.
