This doesn’t mean you have to go crazy. Maybe you’re going for a neutral palette, maybe something monochromatic, or yes, maybe something bold and beautiful! Whatever the color scheme is, keep the basics in mind – the color wheel matters! Always opt for shades that complement each other to keep things looking cohesive.
In my book, these go hand in hand. I love a design that has depth, so incorporating different types of fabrics and adding some pattern goes a long way. This doesn’t have to be in the big elements (like furniture). You can add interest to a lounge or tablescape with textiles, floral decor, glassware, linen, and more!
I love softening straight lines by mixing in some curves, and this lounge we styled at Luxmore is a perfect example – we’ve got the whole shebang! Straight lines in the seating and sideboard paired with a combo of organic lines in the floral and circular end tables. The perfect combination!
